Future Generations Technology was started as a concept in early 2004. Later in the year, the Company raised sufficient capital and made its first investment in the retail virtual calling card business by partnering with eVoice International to deploy its very own private labeled virtual calling card service MyCyberCard.
Shortly after this, in late 2004, Future Generations Technology again partnered with eVoice International to enter into the residential Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol (VOIP) market with its retail product MyCyberPhone.
In addition to the VOIP and virtual calling card industry, Future Generation Technology invested in other telecommunications abroad. Acquiring 100% ownership of TeleInca, S.A., a large, provincial cable television provider in the Dominican Republic was another well-calculated investment. Since the investment in the company, upgrading of its services, and change over of management, sales rates have risen at more than 400%. Debts have been paid and further reinvestment of revenues has helped to place TeleInca in a positive cash flow position.
